Joseph “Erap” Estrada found Guilty of Plunder

According to the latest gma news, Ousted President Joseph Estrada was sentenced to life in prison by the Sandiganbayan’s Special Division and barred from holding public office after being found guilty of the crime of plunder in a marathon six-year trial. However, He was acquitted of perjury and the Sandiganbayan allowed him to return to his Tanay, Rizal resthouse, “until further order of this court.”

Surely, Erap has done a lot of good deeds but justice must prevail. If he really was guilty as charged then it only proves that the Philippine legal system is still intact.
