When we went on holiday in France, we spent the whole week to make the most of what it has to offer. Sadly, it wasn’t enough. We allocated a day to visit the most famous art museum in France, the Musee de Louvre in Palais Royal, Paris. However, I have mixed views on the glass pyamid right at the front of the museum. It maybe claimed that the Louvre Glass Pyramid is one of the great fusion of old and new. but I don’t quite buy the idea though. It doesn’t have the same “feel” during the day. It was a little disjointed. However, the courtyard was lovely and looked magnificent at night time when all the brilliant lights are on.

Louvre museum is huge and if you want to view all the artworks even a full day is not enough. It is a good idea to purchase a ticket before leaving UK/online or you risk waiting for ages in the queue. My wife was so keen in seeing the most viewed artwork of all, the Mona Lisa. The journey felt like never ending and by the time we reached the most valuable gallery of all, it was packed with people, all keen to get a glimpse of Mona Lisa.

On the hindsight, I wished I made a special arrangement to view it just for the two of us. It was a little too late. The day had been an unforgettable one. My wife enjoyed it dearly and it will surely be something memorable, filled of paintings and art works that is.

Thousands, perhaps millions, of Mona Lisa paintings (no doubt a photoshopped version, of course) are on sale not only in Palais Royal but in the whole of Paris.

After the successful concert in Chile February 2008, Journey, with their new lead singer Arnel Pineda, is to hold yet another concert in Las Vegas Nevada on 8th March 2008. This is the Journey concert that will be recorded for dvd production/distribution. I really can’t wait for this.


Sadly, I won’t be able to attend the Journey concert, yet again, as I’m on holiday in Florida for two weeks. If only it’s just a few miles away, I will definitely come, no doubt. I will just have to purchase my own copy of Journey DVD and enjoy the Journey concert video.I strongly feel that the Journey concert in Las Vegas will be a successful night even in the absence of Steve Perry. I do hope that it will surpassed the satisfaction of the awesome Chilean crowd from their concert last month.

Good luck Journey on your Las Vegas concert and all of your upcoming concert in 2008.

Disney World in Orlando Florida is the largest and most visited recreational resort in the world. Disney theme parks, water parks, themed hotels are heavily scattered within Disney area in Orlando, Florida.

We had been in Disneyland in Paris, France. The place was fantastic and indeed full of fun and excitement. In search for more thrills and adventure, both for us and the kids, we have decided to go on holiday in Disney World Florida for two weeks. For some of you, by the time you have read this, we’re probably on the plane courtesy of Richard Branson’s airline, the Virgin Atlantic.

If you are a recent Nursing graduate and had passed the Philippine Nursing Board Exam, chances are you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of nurses queuing up hospitals to inquire for any nursing vacancies. Most qualified nurses would target huge tertiary hospitals (both public and private) within Metro Manila. There had been rumours that Jean Garcia and Polo Ravales had been intimately close to each other. I recall Polo Ravales as a young teen from a TV show “TGIS” in mid 90’s and currently a member of a boy band. Jean Garcia on the other hand started her showbiz career as a teen on That’s Entertainment in the 80’s. It seems that their closeness are becoming an issue so much so that they had been interviewed on Showbiz Central about it. During the interview, it was highlighted that Polo is ten years younger than Jean. Is there any romance between Jean Garcia and Polo Ravales? Or is it just friendship? We use our kettle quite a lot for boiling water (what else would I use it for, duh). Especially this winter you really need to warm up quite a bit. British tea, anyone?

I remember someone suggested to filter the water before boiling as it helps reduce the build up of limescale but it makes the tea taste better as well. You still got to de-scale it at some point though.

Just notice that there had been a build up of limescale in our kettle (big deal), so it’s time to use a de-scaler. Unfortunately, there were none left as I reach for the cupboard. Scrubbing doesn’t do much good either. My wife de-scale it the ‘natural’ way. Guess what - using vinegar. I tell you, it did the trick.

TV giants ABS CBN and GMA 7 had always been great rivals. Exclusive artists, celebrity hopping, rating competition and all. I must admit I’ve not witnessed a rivalry of this level here in the UK. Competition is absolutely fine as it brings out the best of both stations and their artists. It is rumoured that talks maybe forthcoming on a KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez team up on a love movie. If you want to hear what KC thinks on this idea then watch this video.

Should a KC Concepcion and Richard Gutierrez movie ensue, I can only hope that it is not just another forgettable love theme movie in the Philippine cinema. There’s got to have something more into it. If a KC and Richard movie team up will be the beginning of the end of the two giants extreme rivalry then this will be something to pursue. It would be even more amazing if they eventually co manage a movie that can truly compete in the International arena. Watch this space.

If you have searched for this post, then you probably have heard of the recent rumour between Mark Herras, Patrick Garcia, Jennylyn Mercado and the real father of her baby. Shortly after, Mark Herras is now rumoured to be ever so close with Rhian Ramos even after the shoot of the last episode of My Only Love. Exchanging phone calls and stuff. If this phone calls lead to something more then why not. I don’t really see anything wrong with this if they are both single and free from any responsibilities.
