It is absolutely great to live in a country where freedom exists. But to maintain order, law exists, for which everyone are expected to abide. In the case of journalism or even that of a blogger, the ability to express your opinion is fantastic for as long as this is true and done without malice. Additionally, it is important to be aware of local laws that govern this area.
In the case of Cristy Fermin, she was sentenced to be guilty of libel. This was according to the news from gma.
