The Return of Pinoy United Magazine
It had been a very long 4 months for me. I’d been ever so busy offline and online with the Filipino Community that I had not much time to update this Filipino Online Magazine as often as I wanted it to be. All the holidays that I took, my job promotion, birthdays celebrated, anniversary, Christmas holiday and all.
Nevertheless, Blogoloco is back.
An Online Community with a Difference
It took months to conceptualise what this Filipino Community website has now become. The aim of the site was to provide a medium for Filipinos to connect to their Pinoy friends, particularly those whom they might have lost communications with. To provide a means of helping each other by sharing/supporting, and to network with pinoys who have the same interest. You probably ask yourselves, how many Pinoys have accounts on each of this websites (Friendster, Myspace and Facebook and so on)? Why another one? Would it not be better if you only hold one account to reach to all your Filipino friends? This is when Pinoy United materialised. The choice is yours if you want to join.
Welcome to Pinoy United
Pinoy United was introduced to some fellow Filipinos in the UK during the celebration of Independence day this year. The site that you see today was the changes made after their comment and went live at the end of July. Originally envisioned to be an online Filipino community in the UK, pinoyunited.com now aims to connect Filipinos worldwide.
