Contrary to popular belief, there remains a large number of qualified Filipino nurses who up to this date remain unemployed within the field of nursing due to a limited nursing jobs available in the Philippines. Coupled that with such an alarming number of nursing students from across all levels, it will be no surprise that job prospects would be much more difficult in the coming years. It is evident, based from a claim of one of the nurses on the video below, that some even pay a healthcare institution, just to be able to work in their chosen career.

If you are a recent Nursing graduate and had passed the Philippine Nursing Board Exam, chances are you’re one of the hundreds of thousands of nurses queuing up hospitals to inquire for any nursing vacancies. Most qualified nurses would target huge tertiary hospitals (both public and private) within Metro Manila. Unfortunately, with the amount of applicants they receive across the country, vacancy for nurses might be limited from this hospitals.

Watch it from start till end, it’s only over a minute. Be warned though, as it is in British Formulary.

Now you’ve memorised some of the drug names. You only have to work on understanding their drug actions. Good luck.
